Phils provide details for tonight's Taney tribute

Philadelphia LLWS club, led by Mo'ne Davis, to be focus of ballpark-wide celebration

PHILADELPHIA -- The Taney Dragons were the talk of Philadelphia and claimed the national spotlight during their historic run at the Little League World Series. On Wednesday, they'll take center stage once again, this time at Citizens Bank Park as they are honored before the series finale between the Phillies and Nationals.

The entire Dragons roster will be the focus of a ballpark-wide celebration that will begin outside the confines of Citizens Bank Park. The Little Leaguers and their families will make their "Leadoff Walk" into the stadium -- escorted by the Penn Band and led by the Phillie Phanatic. Fans who have not yet entered the ballpark gates are invited to line up on 10th Street to cheer on the Dragons.

Fans inside the ballpark, meanwhile, are urged to be in their seats as the Dragons make their royal entrance into the stadium from a 10th Street Leadoff Walk.

From there, Mayor Michael Nutter and Ryan Howard will address the Dragons in front of the Citizens Bank Park crowd, and the Dragons will then take one final victory lap around the field together as a team.

All 12 players on the Taney Dragons' roster will simultaneously throw ceremonial first pitches. Serving as their catchers will be players from the 2014 Phillies.

Fans can take advantage of a special ticket offer, with Taney receiving a portion of the proceeds, by visiting phillies.com/Taney.

All fans in attendance will receive a Taney Dragons T-shirt.
