Applications are now being accepted to be a 2017 Phillies Ballgirl.
Requirements include interpersonal and public relations skills, an outgoing personality, softball experience, baseball knowledge and a flexible schedule. Applicants must be at least 18 years old.
To apply, applicants can send a resume along with a two-minute video clip with why they should be selected to [email protected], or as a hard copy with "Ballgirl Applicant" in the subject line to Citizens Bank Park.
Fans have until March 1 to apply.
"This is another sign that baseball is just around the corner," Phillies director of community and charity events Michele DeVicaris said. "The Phillies Ballgirls are ambassadors in the community and on the field. We are looking for educated, athletic and energetic women who hope to serve as role models in professional sports for young girls."
