The San Francisco Giants are coming to Philadelphia for a three-game series August 2-4. Below are some of the must-know highlights when coming to the ballpark.
On Tuesday, August 2 be here for the Phillies inaugural Grateful Dead Tribute Night benefitting the Rex Foundation, the band's official non-profit charitable arm! Grateful Dead Cover Band "Box of Rain" will perform pre-game in Ashburn Alley 5:30 - 6:15 p.m.
The first 2,000 fans who purchase tickets through this Theme Night Ticket promotion will receive a coupon for an exclusive Phillies Grateful Dead T-shirt giveaway.
Ashburn Alley opens at 5:05 p.m., all gates open at 5:35 p.m. Game time is 7:05 p.m. The game will be presented on CSN, MLB.TV and SportsRadio 94WIP.
On Wednesday, August 3, beginning at 5:40 p.m., television personalities will play softball against newspaper and radio personalities to benefit the Police Athletic League prior to the Phillies-Giants game.
After the PAL celebrity softball game, PAL representatives will make a pre-game presentation to Carlos Ruiz, recognizing him for his community service. A PAL youngster accompanied by Philadelphia Police Commissioner Richard Ross Jr. will throw out the ceremonial first pitch. In the 7th inning, PAL youngsters and a PAL officer will dance on the dugout with the Phanatic.

Former Philadelphia Inquirer sports columnist Bill Lyon, who recently was diagnosed with Alzheimer's and is currently documenting his experience, will be honored by the Alzheimer's Association prior to Wednesday's game and throw out a ceremonial first pitch.
Tennis legend Billie Jean King will throw out the ceremonial first pitch on Thursday, August 4, prior to the 1:05 p.m. Phillies-Giants game.
Fans are invited to head out of the office and enjoy an afternoon of baseball at the Citizens Bank Businessperson's Special. It's a great way to kick back with coworkers or entertain a client.
Ashburn Alley opens at 11:05 a.m., all gates open at 11:35 a.m. Game time is 1:05 p.m. The game will be presented on NBC10, MLB.TV and SportsRadio 94WIP.
Also on Thursday, all fans will receive the Citizens Bank Pride of the Phillies Print featuring Carlos Ruiz and Ryan Howard.
Plus, campers and their counselors are invited to the Phillies Summer Camp Day on Thursday. Following the game, all children 14 years and under are invited to run the bases as part of Nemours Kid's Run the Bases. This will be the last Nemours Kid's Run the Bases event of the season.
