The Phillies start Fourth of July weekend with fireworks and a fun-filled homestand at Citizens Bank Park with a series versus the Kansas City Royals (July 1-3) followed by a three-game series against the Atlanta Braves (July 4-6). Below are some of the must-know highlights when coming to the ballpark.
On Friday, July 1, and Saturday, July 2, following the games against the Kansas City Royals, fans will be able to enjoy a world-class fireworks show choreographed to music performed by the Philadelphia Orchestra, compliments of XFINITY. Prior to Saturday's fireworks show, the National Youth Orchestra USA Brass Ensemble will perform. To purchase tickets, go to phillies.com/tickets.
Friday, July 1, Ashburn Alley opens at 5:05 p.m., all gates open at 5:35 p.m. Game time is 7:05 p.m.
Saturday, July 2, All gates open at 3:50 p.m. Game time is 5:50 p.m.
On Sunday, July 3, all fans 18 and over will receive a coupon for a buy one, get one free ticket for the Pennsylvania Lottery Cash4Life game. Also, two American Idol alums will perform at that day's game: Joanna Pacitti, American Idol Season 8, will sing the National Anthem and Courtney Zahn, American Idol Season 14, will sing God Bless America with 11 year-old Riley McEvoy.
All gates open at 11:35 a.m. Game time is 1:35 p.m.
On Monday, July 4, to celebrate Independence Day, the Phillies will host a Salute to Veterans Game. Fans are invited to be in their seats by 3:30 p.m. for a very special Phillies salute to the nation's military, which includes:
The first 500 fans that purchase tickets through this Theme Night Ticket promotion will receive a coupon for an exclusive Phillies Dog Tag giveaway (pictured, right). All military personnel, veterans, and their guests can also receive a $4 discount off tickets regularly priced $47 and under.
Plus, stop by Section 136 (outside of the Majestic Clubhouse Store) to write thank you notes to military members. The notes will be mailed over the holidays and included in care packages being sent to active military that are deployed.

Tuesday, July 5 is Ghostbusters Night. Characters from the movie will be roving the concourse to meet and greet with fans during the game and one lucky row will win Ghostbuster goodies.
The first 1,500 fans that purchase tickets through this Theme Night Ticket promotion will receive a coupon for a limited edition Phillies Ghostbusters T-shirt. Please note: T-shirt sizes are available during redemption on a first come, first served basis.
Plus, Tom Verica, Executive Producer/Head Director of ABC's "Scandal" and actor in "How to Get Away with Murder," playing Viola Davis' husband Sam Keating, will throw out the ceremonial first pitch prior to the game.
