Pitcher: RHP Tyler Cloyd, Reading. 1-0, 0.00 ERA for 2 starts, 13 innings, 6 hits, 3 walks, 12 strikeouts. No-decision came on Sunday, when he allowed 1 hit in 6 shutout innings; win came on Tuesday, 7 scoreless innings. Started the season 1-0 at Lehigh Valley and is 3-0 in 4 starts since at Reading. Going back to last season at Reading, Cloyd won his last 3 decisions. Last loss was 7/20/11. The 24-year-old was an 18th round selection in 2008 and signed by Jerry Lafferty. It marks the 4th time in the last 8 awards that Cloyd has been named pitcher of the week.
