Phillies outright 6 to Triple-A to clear 40-man spots

PHILADELPHIA -- The Phillies have started to make room on the 40-man roster in preparation for a potentially eventful offseason.
They announced Friday afternoon that they outrighted infielder ; right-handers , and ; outfielder ; and left-hander to Triple-A Lehigh Valley.
The Phillies have a slew of prospects they need to protect from the Rule 5 Draft in December, which means being smart with their 40-man roster spots. The group included Top 30 prospects (No. 3), Dylan Cozens (6), (10), Andrew Knapp (11), Ricardo Pinto (15), (17), Elniery Garcia (19), Malquin Canelo (21), Carlos Tocci (22), (23), Jose Pujols (26) and (28).
