Phillies Spring Training leads off with free game on Friday, Feb. 22

Here’s a fun and free way to celebrate the start of the Phillies 2013 Spring Training season.
The Phillies are inviting fans to attend a free-to-the-public intrasquad game on Friday, February 22, at noon at Bright House Field in Clearwater, Fla. Gates open at 10:35 a.m.
“We look forward to welcoming fans and giving them an opportunity to experience Phillies baseball with this ‘open house’ intrasquad game,” said John Timberlake, Director of Florida Operations, General Manager Clearwater Threshers. “It’s a great way to cheer on the Phillies before the official start of the Spring Training season.”
The Phillies Spring Training home opener at Bright House Field will take place the following day on Saturday, February 23, at 1:05 p.m. against the Houston Astros. Tickets for this game and the rest of the Phillies Spring Training season are available at Phillies.com.
