September 18th, 2016

PHILADELPHIA -- Mike Schmidt and others on Sunday morning helped bring in donations to a food drive just outside Citizens Bank Park.
The ShopRite Partners In Caring Food Drive featured buy-one-get-one-free gameday tickets for anyone who donated food.
The annual In Caring Food Drive benefits Philabundance, the largest hunger relief organization in the Delaware Valley. Through its ShopRite Partners In Caring program, ShopRite donates more than $3 million annually to food banks such as Philabundance throughout Pennsylvania, New Jersey, New York, Connecticut, Delaware and Maryland.
ShopRite collected enough food during last year's drive to supply 1,500 meals for people in need in the Delaware Valley.

Event highlights includes:
• Appearances by the Phillie Phanatic, Schmidt and others
• The Philadelphia Zoo on Wheels
• Raffle for Phillies autographed ball and bat
• Food sampling, music and giveaways
