Phils name Fournier strength and conditioning coach

PHILADELPHIA -- The Phillies will have a new strength and conditioning coordinator next season.

The team announced Monday afternoon they replaced Dong Lien with Paul Fournier, who served in the same capacity in the organization's Minor League system. Before joining the Phillies two years ago, Fornier spent nine years on the Marlins' Major League staff and six years with the Montreal Expos as their Minor League strength and conditioning coordinator.

Lien spent six seasons on the Phillies' big league staff. He has been offered another job in the organization.
