Altuve, Correa could power Astros over Rays, Moore

Welcome to DraftKings fantasy baseball, the Official Daily Fantasy Game of Major League Baseball.

The players listed below could provide difference-making stats for DraftKings participants on Sunday.

Jose Altuve (Astros): With a lofty lifetime .344/.387/.474 slash line against southpaws in his career, Altuve has proven to be among the best in baseball during those matchups. The second baseman could reach base often or score multiple runs when he faces Rays lefty Matt Moore (career 1.35 WHIP), who has posted an 8.00 ERA across a pair of starts since returning from Tommy John surgery.

Carlos Correa (Astros): Correa -- who has compiled seven homers and five steals across 133 plate appearances since debuting on June 8 -- could be stacked with Altuve, in hopes that the former will drive in the latter on multiple occasions.:: Fred Zinkie's Daily Picks ::

Mark Teixeira (Yankees): As a big leaguer, the first baseman has registered an impressive .292/.386/.525 slash line against left-handers in his career. Teixeira could hit his 23rd homer of the season or drive in multiple runs when he faces Red Sox southpaw Wade Miley (4.50 ERA, 1.44 WHIP in 2015).

Chris Young (Yankees): The outfielder has produced pronounced lifetime splits, with an .834 OPS against left-handers that dwarfs his .704 mark vs. righties. Young -- who has compiled 10 long balls across 202 at-bats this season -- could drive in multiple runs when he meets up with Miley (career 1.34 WHIP).

Mookie Betts (Red Sox): The talented outfielder, who is hitting .323 with five homers and eight steals across 174 plate appearances since May 25, has been a major factor in many recent DraftKings contests. From his premium lineup position, Betts could reach base often and score multiple runs when he brings his balanced lifetime splits into a matchup with Eovaldi (career 4.13 ERA, 1.40 WHIP).

Salvador Perez (Royals): In his career, the catcher has excelled against left-handers to the tune of an .810 OPS (.723 vs. righties). Perez could drive in multiple runs when he faces southpaw Felix Doubront (career 4.73 ERA, 1.47 WHIP) and a Blue Jays relief corps that lacks high-end hurlers.

Matt Duffy (Giants): Duffy, who is hitting .292 with eight homers across 257 at-bats this season, has emerged as the Giants' answer at the hot corner. He could reach base often when he brings his lifetime .775 OPS against right-handers (.708 vs. lefties) into a matchup with Phillies righty Chad Billingsley, who has posted a 6.67 ERA and a 1.70 WHIP this season after missing all of 2014.

Joc Pederson (Dodgers): With 17 homers across 233 at-bats against right-handers this season, Pederson could rip a round-tripper when he faces Brewers righty Kyle Lohse. The hurler owns a lifetime 1.1 HR/9 rate and a 1.75 mark this season. His troubles with the long ball have played a major factor in his 6.29 ERA this year.

Nolan Arenado (Rockies): With 24 homers and 69 RBIs across 320 at-bats, Arenado has been among the most productive third basemen this season. He could improve on his lifetime .296/.354/.518 slash line against left-handers or his career .301/.337/.536 slash line at hitter-friendly Coors Field when he faces Braves southpaw Alex Wood (1.41 WHIP in 2015).

Troy Tulowitzki (Rockies): Like his teammate Arenado, Tulowitzki has traditionally fared best against left-handers (career .970 OPS) and at his offense-inducing home park (lifetime .957 OPS). He could drive in multiple runs against Wood or a Braves bullpen that ranks 29th in the Majors with a 4.31 ERA.

Nick Markakis (Braves): The outfielder -- who has a .381 on-base percentage this season -- could reach base often when he vacates his pitcher-friendly home park to face righty Chad Bettis (lifetime 5.95 ERA, 1.62 WHIP) at offense-inducing Coors Field. As a big leaguer, Markakis has registered an .813 OPS against right-handers in comparison to a .737 mark vs. lefties.

Brett Anderson (Dodgers): The left-hander -- who has posted a season-to-date 3.12 ERA -- could compile quality frames when he works at his pitcher-friendly home park against a Brewers lineup that sits 28th in the Majors with a .653 OPS vs. southpaws. His quest for a win could be well-supported if the Dodgers offense -- which leads baseball with a .777 OPS against right-handers -- succeeds against Lohse.

Jake Arrieta (Cubs): With a 2.80 ERA and a 1.03 WHIP since joining the Cubs during the 2013 season, Arrieta has emerged as a fantasy ace. He could compile several quality frames when he plies his trade at home against a White Sox lineup that ranks last in baseball with 286 runs and will have to work without the designated-hitter spot at a Senior Circuit venue.

Johnny Cueto (Reds): The right-hander -- who has a 2.37 ERA since the outset of last season -- could thrive at pitcher-friendly Marlins Park against a Miami lineup that ranks 28th in the Majors with a .657 OPS vs. righties. Also in Cueto's favor: The Marlins will be without offensive centerpiece Giancarlo Stanton, who is on the disabled list.

Yovani Gallardo (Rangers): With a 1.26 ERA across his past nine starts, the red-hot right-hander could be a strong second starter for DraftKings participants when he faces a Padres offense that ranks 27th in baseball with a .663 OPS against righties.

Lance McCullers (Astros): The rookie righty has excelled across his first 10 Major League starts, posting a 2.16 ERA and a 1.10 WHIP. McCullers could continue to thrive when he works at pitcher-friendly Tropicana Field against a Rays lineup that ranks 26th in baseball with a .669 OPS against right-handers.

All statistics are accurate through the completion of Friday's games.
