Cano, Mariners stack could thrive at Fenway

Jose Bautista (Blue Jays): Since the outset of the 2010 season, the outfielder has used a patient, powerful approach to build a .267/.387/.556 slash line against right-handers and a .282/.407/.591 line at his hitter-friendly home park. From the three-hole in baseball's highest-scoring lineup, Bautista could drive in multiple runs when he bats at home against Yankees righty Ivan Nova (career 1.38 WHIP).

Robinson Cano (Mariners): After a slow start to the season, the second baseman has hit .329 with eight homers since July 1. Cano could continue to excel when he brings his impressive lifetime .317/.364/.523 slash line against right-handers into a matchup with Red Sox righty Joe Kelly (5.96 ERA in 2015).

Kyle Seager (Mariners): Seager has long fared best vs. right-handers, against whom he has produced a career .791 OPS (.690 vs. lefties). The third baseman could thrive when he vacates his pitcher-friendly home venue and faces Kelly (1.55 WHIP in 2015) at Fenway Park. Also of note: Seager and his teammates will attempt to put balls into play against a Red Sox squad that ranks 26th in baseball with a .678 defensive efficiency ratio.

Seth Smith (Mariners): The outfielder owns notable lifetime splits, with an .830 OPS against right-handers that exceeds his .615 mark vs. lefties. Smith could be part of a Mariners stack -- with Cano, Seager and shortstop Brad Miller -- against Kelly (career 1.40 WHIP).

Evan Longoria (Rays): Longoria will be in position to improve on his lifetime .918 OPS against left-handers (.808 vs. righties) when he vacates his pitcher-friendly home park and faces southpaw Martin Perez at offense-inducing Globe Life Park in Arlington. Since returning from Tommy John surgery, Perez has registered a 5.81 ERA and a 1.44 WHIP across five starts.

Logan Forsythe (Rays): Hitting .280 with 13 homers and seven steals across 445 plate appearances, Forsythe has been a cost-effective option for DraftKings participants on many occasions this season. The second baseman could excel when he brings his lifetime .808 OPS against left-handers (.628 vs. righties) into a matchup with Perez (career 4.31 ERA, 1.40 WHIP) and a Rangers bullpen that ranks last in baseball with a 4.64 ERA.

Eric Hosmer (Royals): From the cleanup spot, Hosmer will be poised to display his power when he puts his lifetime .803 OPS against right-handers (.686 vs. lefties) on the line in a matchup with Angels fly-ball-prone righty Jered Weaver (4.69 ERA in 2015).

Kendrys Morales (Royals): The slugger -- who ranks third in the Junior Circuit with 81 RBIs this season -- could drive in multiple runs at the expense of Weaver (4.58 FIP in 2015). In his career, Morales has posted an .810 OPS against right-handers that exceeds his .731 mark vs. lefties.

Ryan Braun (Brewers): With a career .334/.402/.630 slash line against left-handers, Braun has proven to wield a potent bat in those matchups. The outfielder could drive in multiple runs when he bats at his hitter-friendly home park against Phillies rookie southpaw Adam Morgan (5.20 FIP, 1.40 WHIP). Braun could also swipe his 17th base of the season against catcher Carlos Ruiz, who has thwarted 10 of 50 would-be basestealers in 2015.

Jonathan Lucroy (Brewers): With a lifetime .851 OPS against left-handers (.736 vs. righties), the catcher will be primed to excel in a home matchup with the inexperienced Morgan. Also of note: Lucroy and his teammates will attempt to put balls into play against a Phillies squad that ranks last in baseball with a .661 defensive efficiency ratio.

Justin Upton (Padres): With 20 homers and 18 steals across 448 plate appearances this season, the outfielder has the skills to contribute to DraftKings squads in multiple ways when he bats at offense-inducing Coors Field against southpaw Yohan Flande (career 4.71 ERA). In his career, Upton owns an .891 OPS against left-handers that exceeds his .804 mark vs. righties.

Matt Kemp (Padres): The outfielder will be primed to improve on his lifetime .932 OPS against left-handers (.795 vs. righties) when he faces Flande (4.77 FIP in 2015) at Colorado's hitter-friendly venue. Kemp could also excel late in the game against a Rockies relief corps that ranks 29th in the Majors with a 4.59 ERA.

Derek Norris (Padres): Norris has produced pronounced career splits, with an .833 OPS against left-handers that exceeds his .643 mark vs. righties. The catcher could display his power when he faces Flande at homer-happy Coors Field. Also of note: Norris and his teammates will attempt to put balls into play against a Rockies squad that ranks 28th in the Majors with a .674 defensive efficiency ratio.

David Price (Blue Jays): Price will bring an impressive 2.35 ERA into a home start against the Yankees. The left-hander is coming off an outing Saturday that saw him toss seven innings of shutout ball against this same New York lineup. Price could come away with a win if his high-scoring supporting cast can have success in a seemingly advantageous matchup with Ivan Nova (career 4.15 ERA).

Robbie Ray (D-backs): With a 3.13 ERA and a 1.17 WHIP, Ray has been a cost-effective second starter in several DraftKings contests. The left-hander could compile quality frames when he works at pitcher-friendly Turner Field against a Braves lineup that ranks last in the Majors in OPS against southpaws (.631) and homers (71).

Corey Kluber (Indians): With a 2.52 FIP and 186 strikeouts across 171 2/3 innings, the right-hander has been one of the most dominant pitchers in baseball this season. Kluber could spin a gem when he faces a Twins lineup that ranks 21st in the Majors with a .698 OPS against righties. In his most recent start, Kluber held the Twins to one run on three hits in a complete-game victory.

Wily Peralta (Brewers): With a 4.48 ERA and a 1.44 WHIP on the year, the right-hander could have an economical price tag in DraftKings contests when he faces a Phillies lineup that ranks 29th in the Majors with a .675 OPS against righties. Peralta may come away with a win if his supporting cast can have success against the inexperienced Morgan.
