Pipeline preview: Alcantara aims to extend scoreless streak for Sounds

Here's a look at top prospects to watch in Tuesday's Minor League action:
Mejia streak watch:Indians No. 4 prospect Francisco Mejia aims to extend his 43-game hit streak as Lynchburg hosts Potomac at 5:30 p.m. ET.
Hitter to watch: (Phillies' No. 3), Lehigh Valley vs. Scranton/Wilkes-Barre (7:05 p.m. ET on MiLB.TV)
Williams went 2-for-4 and hit a two-run home run on Monday to help power Triple-A Lehigh Valley past Scranton/Wilkes-Barre. The 22-year-old outfielder, ranked No. 60 on the Top 100, has gone deep 11 times in 97 games for the IronPigs, while the multi-hit performance improved his season average and OPS to .286 and .784, respectively.

Pitcher to watch: (A's No. 27), Nashville at New Orleans (7 p.m. ET on MiLB.TV)
Alcantara, who was promoted to Nashville on July 20, has turned in back-to-back scoreless starts of seven innings to begin his Triple-A career. The 23-year-old right-hander was similarly dominant in his final turn for Double-A Midland, when he fired six innings of one-run ball while striking out eight. Between the three performances, Alcantara has allowed just one earned run in his last 20 innings, with 16 strikeouts and zero walks in that span.
Duel of the day: Brent Honeywell (Rays' No. 2) vs. Andrew Moore (Mariners' No. 10), Montgomery vs. Jackson (8:05 pm. ET on MiLB.TV)
Honeywell, No. 49 on the Top 100, has been sharp in his first four starts for Double-A Montgomery, posting a 1.21 ERA with 23 strikeouts in 22 1/3 innings. The 21-year-old right-hander has pitched to a 2.07 ERA, 1.05 WHIP and 87-17 strikeout-to-walk ratio in 78 1/3 innings (14 starts) this season between the Class A Advanced and Double-A levels.

Moore picked up his sixth Double-A win and tossed a career high 7 1/3 innings in his most recent start for Jackson. The 22-year-old right-hander has pitched to a 3.17 ERA over 65 1/3 innings (12 starts) since being promoted from Class A Advanced Bakersfield, where he had posted a 1.65 ERA and a 0.90 WHIP over 54 2/3 innings while holding opposing hitters to a .188 average.
