PirateFest autograph tickets to go on sale

Cervelli, Marte among current Bucs players slated to attend

PITTSBURGH -- Tickets for group autograph sessions for the upcoming PirateFest at the David L. Lawrence Convention Center will go on sale this week, the club announced on Wednesday.

Season-ticket holders can begin purchasing passes at 10 a.m. ET on Thursday, and the remaining tickets will be available to the general public at 10 a.m. on Friday via pirates.com/PirateFest.

Current Pirates scheduled to attend are Francisco Cervelli, Jared Hughes, Bobby LaFromboise, Jake Goebbert, Josh Harrison, Charlie Morton, Starling Marte, Michael Morse, Tony Watson and pitching prospect Nick Kingham. Former Bucs Bob Walk, Bill Mazeroski, Kevin Young, Dave Parker and Kent Tekulve are also scheduled to participate in the autograph sessions.

Admission to PirateFest is free to the public on Dec. 12, and tickets for each autograph session are available for $20. Each 90-minute session will be limited to 200 fans, and each ticket guarantees fans a chance to meet up to three former Pirates, current players and prospects. There will also be a special session, open to the first 150 fans, featuring members of the 1971 World Series championship club.

There will also be special autograph sessions for children, ages 14-and-under, that will not require a ticket; those sessions will be announced on site. On Dec. 13, PirateFest will be open exclusively to season-ticket holders who chose a PirateFest VIP experience as one of their 2015 experiences.
