The Pittsburgh Pirates announced today the dates for the 2016 PirateFest, presented by Chick-fil-A Pittsburgh. The event will take place at the David L. Lawrence Convention Center in downtown Pittsburgh on Saturday, December 10 and Sunday, December 11 and admission for each day is FREE to the general public.
The popular weekend includes activities for the entire family such as live events, autograph sessions with current and former Pirates players, prizes, games, youth baseball clinics, the Pirate Parrot, the ability to purchase Season Memberships and other ticket packages for the 2017 season and much more.
General Public hours for PirateFest, presented by Chick-fil-A Pittsburgh, are as follows:
Once again this year general autograph sessions will be ticketed and sold prior to the event with all proceeds benefiting Pirates Charities and local nonprofit organizations. More information regarding autograph session ticket on-sales and schedules will be available at a later date at pirates.com/piratefest.
All fans who purchase autograph tickets will be guaranteed autographs for the specific session(s) they wish to attend. In addition to the general autograph sessions, there will again be special autograph sessions for all kids 14-and-under throughout the weekend event that will not require a donation to Pirates Charities.
This marks the 27th year of the Pirates-themed indoor baseball carnival, the largest indoor celebration of its kind with participation from current Pirates players and coaches as well as alumni and executives.
