Pirates announce registration process for Postseason tickets

The Pittsburgh Pirates announced today fans may begin registering for the chance to purchase 2013 postseason tickets at pirates.com/postseason.

The Pirates are making postseason tickets available to as many fans as possible through this special online-only presale opportunity. This registration process allows all fans an equal chance for purchasing tickets to potential games at PNC Park. Fans must complete and submit the form on pirates.com/postseason to be registered for a chance to purchase tickets to potential 2013 postseason games at PNC Park prior to general public on-sale. Fans need to register just once for the opportunity to purchase tickets to all rounds of the 2013 postseason, including the potential National League Wild Card Game, Division Series, Championship Series and World Series.

The online registration dates are as follows:

• Beginning today, Wednesday, September 4, 2013, Pirates fans may log on to pirates.com/postseason and register for the special online-only presale and a chance to purchase postseason tickets.
• Thursday, September 12, 2013 , National League Wild Card Game and National League Division Series registration period ends at 12 p.m. Eastern Standard Time. The random drawing will take place at a time to be determined and winners will be notified via email shortly thereafter.
• Thursday, September 26, 2013 , National League Championship registration period ends at 12 p.m. Eastern Standard Time. The random drawing will take place at a time to be determined and winners will be notified via email shortly thereafter.
• Thursday, October 10, 2013 , World Series registration ends at 12 p.m. Eastern Standard Time. The random drawing will take place at a time to be determined and winners will be notified via email shortly thereafter.

Please visit pirates.com/postseason for complete rules and details for the random drawings. Also note that notification of selection and receipt of e-mail does not guarantee tickets for any of the games. Tickets will be sold on a first-come, first-served basis, subject to availability.

The public on-sale for each round of the Postseason will be held after each presale opportunity. Inventory for both will be limited and will be sold on a first-come, first-serve basis.
