The Pirates are expected to recall RHP Wilfredo Boscan (#69) from Triple-A Indianapolis and have optioned RHP Curtis Partch to Indianapolis.
 
Boscan, who is scheduled to make his first big league start tonight against the Giants, has gone 1-0 with a 2.92 ERA (12.1ip/4er) in five relief appearances with the Pirates this season. He won his first Major League decision on 5/23 vs. Colorado.
 
In 10 appearances (nine starts) with Indianapolis this season, Boscan has gone 5-5 with a 3.33 ERA. His last outing was a 5-1 victory vs. Pawtucket on Thursday; he threw 82 pitches in 6.0 scoreless innings of work.
