Pirates set pitch times for 2016 home games

PITTSBURGH -- The Pirates announced first pitch times for this year's games at PNC Park on Wednesday, including start times for four nationally televised National League Central matchups.
The Pirates and Cardinals will play the first game of the 2016 season on April 3, with first pitch set for 1:05 p.m. ET on ESPN. Pittsburgh's June 11 game against St. Louis will begin at 7:15 p.m. on FOX, and the NL Central rivals will meet again the following day at 5:05 p.m. as part of an ESPN Sunday Night Baseball doubleheader.
The Pirates and Cubs will play on FOX on July 9, the Saturday before the All-Star break, with first pitch scheduled for 7:15 p.m.
The Bucs' Labor Day meeting with the Cards on Sept. 5 will begin at 4:05 p.m. Their final home game of the season will take place Sept. 29 against the Cubs, and first pitch is set for 7:05 p.m.
This year's home schedule includes three Saturday afternoon games beginning at 4:05 p.m. -- May 21 against the Rockies, June 4 against the Angels and July 23 against the Phillies.
Unless otherwise noted, the Pirates' night games at home will begin at 7:05 p.m., and Sunday afternoon games will start at 1:35 p.m.
