Rangers announce street, parking lot closures due to construction

With the excavation on the new Globe Life Field expected to begin in early October, the Texas Rangers announced the following closures effective today, Friday, September 15.

With the excavation on the new Globe Life Field expected to begin in early October, the Texas Rangers announced the following closures effective today, Friday, September 15.
--Nolan Ryan Expressway is now closed from south of Randol Mill Road to Cowboys Way. 
--In addition, the majority of Tundra Parking Lot B is now closed with the exception of the northeast quadrant at the corner of Randol Mill Road and Stadium Drive.
Beginning with the Rangers' homestand that starts on Monday, September 25, Tundra Parking Lot B season parking will be available only through entrance B3 on Stadium Drive. Lexus Valet Parking will continue to be available at parking lot entrance B1 on Randol Mill Road. Cash parking south of Globe Life Park in Arlington is available in the Tacoma Parking Lot R at the corner of Sanford St. and Stadium Drive.
Globe Life Field excavation will begin in the east portion of what was formerly Tundra Parking Lot B in early October. The new ballpark utility work that began in August also continues on the relocation of a 48" sanitary sewer line in the area of what was Nolan Ryan Expressway.
The General Contractor for the Globe Life Field, Manhattan Construction Company, is overseeing the work.
The revised parking map effective for Rangers' home games on September 25 attached. Updating parking and traffic information can also be found at texasrangers.com.
