The Rangers offered fans a unique perspective of Spring Training on Friday as Major League Baseball participated in its inaugural Snapchat Day.
The social media app provided an exclusive look into the Cactus and Grapefruit Leagues as players were permitted to bring smartphones into the dugouts and bullpens during Friday's spring games, sharing photos and videos throughout the day.
All 30 big league clubs published Snapchat stories, and Texas' can be found at the Snapchat handle "Rangers."
The Rangers' Snapchat story was populated with video snippets beginning with morning workouts prior to the team's matchup with the Brewers at Maryvale Baseball Park in Phoenix. The Rangers took fans behind the scenes for pregame routines and even let fans in on a brief acoustic set from Charley Pride.
The Rangers' feed also features a unique perspective on Friday's Cactus League action, providing a dugout-level view on Texas' 8-5 win vs. Milwaukee with appearances from several stars.
