SURPRISE, Ariz. -- Rangers shortstop Jurickson Profar left Thursday's game after six innings, but his uniform was still covered with dirt in the clubhouse afterward.
He looked like a real baseball player.
"I think so," he said with a smile.

On a day the Rangers' young players distinguished themselves in a 10-0 victory over the Royals, Profar had the most to smile about. Profar was 1-for-2 with a run scored and made a nice defensive play in the field.
It was another big day for Profar after he missed almost all of the past two seasons with a torn muscle in his shoulder.
"It was a very good day," Profar said. "I was having fun playing baseball again. It feels good. I wish I could have had more ground balls."

Profar's best defensive play came in the bottom of the third, when Paulo Orlando led off with a chopper to the left side. Profar charged the ball, threw off-balance and made a strong throw to first for the out. The shoulder has passed another test.
"It's very encouraging what Profar has done," Rangers manager Jeff Banister said. "The liveliness of the body ... the throws, his body language says the arm feels good. He looks instinctual, natural. He hasn't missed a beat swinging the bat.''
It was a good day overall for the Rangers' young position players. Nomar Mazara, Joey Gallo and Lewis Brinson were a combined 4-for-9, and Brett Nicholas hit a two-run homer.
"It's a pretty good testament to our development system to have these guys come in here and look like they belong," Banister said.
