Rangers to host Angels, Diamondbacks, and Padres during eight-game homestand, July 3-12

Two fireworks shows and three giveaways as well as Hall of Fame induction ceremony highlight events

Arlington, Texas-The Texas Rangers close the first half of the 2015 season with an eight-game homestand featuring the Los Angeles Angels, Arizona Diamondbacks, and San Diego Padres that begins on Friday, July 3.

The Angels make their second of three visits to Globe Life Park with games on Friday, July 3 at 7:05 p.m., Saturday, July 4 at 8:05 p.m., and Sunday, July 5 at 6:05 p.m.

The Papa John's Post-Game Fireworks Show set to patriotic music follows the July 4 game. In addition, the first 20,000 fans entering the park on Saturday will receive a pair of Papa John's Rangers7 Sunglasses. There will be a U.S. Air Force induction ceremony and a flyover of both vintage aircraft and U.S. Air Force F-16's prior to the game.

For July 4, scattered singles and obstructed view seats as well as standing room tickets remain with all other reserved seats having been sold. Tickets can be purchased at texasrangers.com, by calling 972.RANGERS, and at the Globe Life Park in Arlington ticket office.

The Diamondbacks will be at Globe Life Park for a two-game series on Tuesday and Wednesday, July 7-8 with both games at 7:05 p.m. On Tuesday, the first 15,000 fans 14 and older receive a FOX Sports Southwest Rangers Hawaiian Shirt. July 8 is Dollar Hot Dog Night and Dr Pepper Autograph Wednesday.

The homestand concludes with the Padres' first appearance in Arlington since 2009 with games on Friday, July 10 at 7:05 p.m., Saturday, July 11 at 8:05 p.m., and Sunday, July 12 at 2:05 p.m. Fireworks set to the music of the 1980's follows the Friday game. On Saturday, outfielder Juan Gonzalez and pitcher Jeff Russell will be inducted as the 18th and 19th members of the Texas Rangers Hall of Fame in on-field ceremonies beginning at 7:15 p.m. A number of Rangers Hall of Famers and former teammates of Gonzalez and Russell will be on hand for the induction.

The homestand and the pre All-Star break schedule conclude on Sunday afternoon when the first 15,000 fans will receive a Globe Life Michael Young Bobblehead.

  • American flag in the outfield and Texas flag on Greene's Hill will be unfurled by members of the 344th Recruiting Squadron, headquartered in Arlington, Airman from the 82nd training wing, Sheppard AFB, Wichita Falls, and Airman from the 301st Fighter Squadron from the Joint Reserve Base in Fort Worth.
  • National Anthem and God Bless America performed by Sergeant Ray Polk of the Arlington Police Dept.   
  • Flyovers featuring four T-34 Mentor Aircraft and two AT-6 Texan Aircraft from World War II from Cavanaugh Flight Museum before U.S. Air Force Induction Ceremony and U.S. Air Force F-16's after the National Anthem.

Sunday, July 5 vs. Los Angeles Angels - 6:05 p.m. - FSSW-HD          Gates open at 4:00 p.m.
