Rangers trade LHP Andrew Faulkner to Baltimore of PTBNL or cash

The Texas Rangers today announced that the club has traded left-handed pitcher Andrew Faulkner to the Baltimore Orioles for a player to be named later or cash considerations.

The Texas Rangers today announced that the club has traded left-handed pitcher Andrew Faulkner to the Baltimore Orioles for a player to be named later or cash considerations.
Faulkner, who was on option to Triple-A Round Rock, has been optioned to Baltimore's Triple-A Norfolk club.
Faulkner spent the majority of 2016 at Round Rock, going 5-3, 3.97 with 4 saves in 41 games/1 start. He also had a 6.75 ERA in 9 relief appearances with the Rangers.
The left-hander, who made his major league debut with Texas in August 2015, has a 4.41 ERA in 20 big league outings with the Rangers in 2015-16. This is his seventh pro season since being selected by Texas in the 2011 MLB June Draft.
With the move, Texas has 39 players on its major league roster.
