ARLINGTON -- The Rangers have announced that the 2018 Park Place Dealerships Texas Rangers Triple Play Game Show Spectacular will take place on May 9 at the Hilton Anatole Dallas.
Tables and individual tickets can be purchased at texasrangers.com/tripleplay and will benefit the Texas Rangers Baseball Foundation.
The theme for the 2018 event is "Sultan's Soiree." Triple Play includes live and silent auctions and attendance by the entire Rangers team. The highlight of the evening will be Rangers players competing against each other in a pair of game shows: Fielders Feud and Wheel of Fortune. The list of participants for each game will be announced later.
Among the items available for bidding in the auctions are trips on a private plane to San Francisco to see the Rangers play as well as a stop in Napa Valley, and to Los Angeles for a Rangers-Dodgers series. Also up for bid is a trip to Argentina for a hunting and fishing excursion. There will also be private hitting and pitching lessons with current Rangers players and other exclusive Rangers experiences.
The event begins with a reception at 6:30 p.m. CT followed by dinner, the program, and the game shows. Emily Jones and John Rhadigan of FOX Sports Southwest will serve as MCs for the evening.
