MLB is offering another unique viewing experience this week as its digital-only national broadcasts continue with today's Rangers-Mariners matchup at Safeco Field. The game will air live in the United States exclusively on Facebook.
The finale of the two-game set between these American League West foes is one of 25 streaming broadcasts scheduled for 2018 as part of MLB's partnership with Facebook.
Fans can catch the 3:40 p.m. ET contest at www.facebook.com/MLBLiveGames or by logging on to Facebook's MLB Live page from their phones, tablets, smart TVs or other streaming devices. MLB Network will produce the game with play-by-play man Rich Waltz, analysts Colby Lewis and Harold Reynolds and in-game reporter Elise Woodward.
Both clubs will be represented in the booth: Reynolds played second base for the Mariners for nine seasons from 1983-91, and Lewis played the bulk of his 11-year career with Texas across two stints from 2002-04 and 2010-16. This will be Lewis' broadcasting debut. He is currently a special assistant for the Rangers.

   What to know about the Rangers-Mariners game
   The Rangers will send veteran hurler Bartolo Colon, who turns 45 on May 24, to the mound. The right-hander has been particularly effective on the road this season, going 1-0 with a 2.18 ERA in starts against Oakland, Houston and Toronto, and has a 13-1 career record at Safeco Field -- the most wins of any visiting pitcher at the ballpark. He's coming off his shortest start of the season when he allowed three runs (two earned) in five innings against the Tigers last week.
   Colon is lights-out against the Mariners, but the veteran right-hander can't seem to solve Dee Gordon. The left-handed batter has hit .400 (14-for-35) with a home run, four RBIs and a double against Colon in his career. Gordon has seven stolen bases at Safeco Field this year. Christian Bergman gets the start for Seattle. The 30-year-old right-hander will be called up from Triple-A Tacoma for a spot start due to a rainout last Friday that pushed the rotation back a day. He's 3-3 with a 3.40 ERA in eight starts for Tacoma and went 4-5, 5.00 ERA last year for Seattle.
   This is the second meeting between these American League West rivals. The Mariners took two of three games in Arlington from April 20-23. They'll meet again for a four-game series in Seattle at the end of the month.
