Rangers announce Winter Caravan stops

ARLINGTON -- The Rangers' 2016 Winter Caravan will begin on Friday with a stop at the Academy Sports + Outdoors in Frisco, Texas. It will be the first of 12 Academy stops this winter.
Pitchers Shawn Tolleson, Keone Kela and Tanner Scheppers are scheduled to appear at 4000 Preston Road in Frisco, from 6:30-7:30 p.m. CT.
Broadcaster Eric Nadel, pitcher Sam Freeman and outfielder Justin Ruggiano will make two Academy stops on Saturday. The first will be from 10:30-11:30 a.m. at 210 North New Road in Waco, Texas, and the other will be from 1:30-2:30 at 1650 North Highway 77 in Waxahachie, Texas.
Delino DeShields, Chris Gimenez, Derek Holland, Tom Grieve and new broadcaster Dave Raymond will be in the San Antonio, Texas, area the following weekend. They will be at 7523 NW Loop 410 in San Antonio at 6:30-7:30 p.m. Friday, Jan. 15, and the following day at 12:30-1:30 at 5400 Brodie Lane in Sunset Valley, Texas.
Pitchers Nick Martinez and Martin Perez will be at the Academy at 8050 Forest Lane in Dallas from 6:30-7:30 on Jan. 20, and Mitch Moreland will be at 1101 West Arbrook in Arlington from 6:30-7:30 p.m. on Jan. 21.
The Rangers will have two appearances on Sunday, Jan. 24. Elvis Andrus, DeShields and Gimenez will be appear from 1:30-2:30 at 4920 N. Garland Ave. in Garland, Texas, and Shin-Soo Choo and Sam Dyson will be at 5836 North Tarrant Parkway in Fort Worth, Texas.
The Rangers will be in Tyler, Texas, from 5:30-6:30 p.m. on Monday Jan. 24, with players to be determined. Robinson Chirinos, Chi Chi Gonzalez and Tom Wilhelmsen will be at 3950 John Knox Drive in Abilene, Texas, from 6-7 p.m. on Jan. 28 and again at 3201 Lawrence Road in Wichita Falls, Texas, from 5-6 p.m. on Jan. 29.
The Rangers will also make a stop at Dell Diamond, home of their Round Rock Express Triple-A affiliate, on Jan. 14. The luncheon will begin at noon in the United Heritage Conference Center. The doors will open at 11 a.m., with an autograph session afterwards. Manager Jeff Banister is scheduled to appear, along with Choo, DeShields, Gimenez, Holland, Grieve and Raymond.
Tickets for the luncheon are on sale online at www.RoundRockExpress.com. Individual general admission tickets are $40. Fans can also reserve a table of eight for $315.
The Rangers will also make a stop at Dr Pepper Ballpark, home of their Frisco RoughRiders Double-A affiliate, on Jan. 30, with a free autograph session from noon-1 p.m. Those scheduled to attend include Banister, Freeman, Gonzalez, Kela, Wilhelmsen and others.
There will also be a private VIP autograph session and brunch from 10:30-11:45 a.m., benefitting the Roughriders Foundation. Tickets are $50 each.
