Dickerson bruises forearm on hit-by-pitch

March 12th, 2016

PORT CHARLOTTE, Fla. -- Outfielder Corey Dickerson exited the Rays' 2-1 win against the Yankees on Saturday in the fifth inning after being hit by a pitch from James Pazos. Dickerson did not require X-rays and was diagnosed with a left forearm bruise.
Tampa Bay acquired Dickerson from the Rockies this offseason in the deal that sent Jake McGee to Colorado.
Worth noting
• Matt Andriese has been scratched from Sunday's start against the Blue Jays due to left abdominal tightness. Taylor Guerrieri will now get the start.
