Today is Patriots' Day, which means morning baseball is available for the first (and only) time of the MLB season.
As part of an annual tradition that began in 1959, the Red Sox will host the Rays for an 11:05 a.m. ET game at Fenway Park for the regional holiday, which commemorates the onset of the American Revolutionary War.
The contest will open up a 10-game slate, streaming live on MLB.TV.

Early birds fly in Boston: TB@BOS, 11:05 a.m.
Red Sox knuckleballer Steven Wright and Rays lefty Blake Snell square off to get the day started.
Wright, an American League All-Star in 2016, is looking to turn things around after a slow start to 2017. The right-hander allowed eight runs and four homers while lasting just 1 1/3 innings against the Orioles in his previous outing.
Snell, who has allowed four earned runs in 11 1/3 innings (3.18 ERA) to being the season, showed promise as a rookie last year. The 24-year-old made 19 starts in 2016, going 6-8 with a 3.54 ERA and 98 strikeouts in 89 innings.

Holland digging new threads: CWS@NYY, 7:05 p.m.
Left-hander Derek Holland, who had spent eight seasons with the Rangers, signed a one-year contract with the White Sox in December.
After going 65-31 with a 4.31 ERA in his time with Texas, he seems to be enjoying the change of scenery. Holland took a tough-luck loss in his first start with Chicago, giving up two earned runs in six innings vs. the Twins, but he followed it up with six scoreless innings for a win at Cleveland.
The 30-year-old will attempt to keep the ball rolling against the Yankees and lefty Jordan Montgomery, who will be making his second career start.

Cotton's encore: TEX@OAK, 10:05 p.m.
Athletics rookie right-hander Jharel Cotton makes his third start of the year on the heels of the best outing of his young career. Originally scheduled to pitch Sunday, Cotton will throw today instead after the game against the Astros was rained out.
The 25-year-old beat the Royals on April 10, allowing just two hits and three walks with six strikeouts in seven scoreless innings.
Cotton, who has shown flashes of brilliance since making his MLB debut last season, is 3-1 with a 2.66 ERA in seven career starts. He will oppose Rangers right-hander A.J. Griffin at the Oakland Coliseum.
