ST. PETERSBURG -- The Rays have signed right-hander Adam Reifer to a Minor League contract with an invite to Spring Training.
Reifer, 29, pitched for Leones de Yucatan of the Mexican League in 2015 and went 1-2 with a 1.33 ERA with 21 saves in 41 appearances. He had 34 strikeouts and 11 walks in 40 2/3 innings.
In seven Minor League seasons, he is 18-18 with a 3.99 ERA and 64 saves in 272 games.
