ST. PETERSBURG -- Timothy Beckham said he felt lucky his left hand injury isn't more serious than it is, and he "should be back in there in a couple of days."
The Rays shortstop was struck in the side of the hand during the fourth inning on Monday by a Scott Feldman pitch that kept running inside. X-rays came back negative, and Beckham was diagnosed with a left hand contusion.

Beckham finished the inning running the bases, but exited before the Rays could take the field again, as he said he had trouble squeezing his glove.
Daniel Robertson slid over to Beckham's position at shortstop, and he started in his place Tuesday against the Reds.
Rays sign 19 Draft selections
The Rays signed 19 more of their 2017 MLB Draft selections, with fourth-round pick Drew Strotman being the highest pick to sign. Andrew Gist, a left-handed pitcher, will be the lone player among the day's signees to report to Class A Advanced Hudson Valley.

Tampa Bay has inked 25 of 41 players drafted.
