Rays to host Spring Training Fan Day during first full squad workout

ST. PETERSBURG, Fla.-The 2015 Tampa Bay Rays will assemble under first-year Manager Kevin Cash for the first time on Saturday, February 28 at Charlotte Sports Park and the team will mark the occasion with the first-ever Spring Training Fan Day. The event is free for all fans and will begin at 9:30 a.m. when the Rays take the field for their first full-squad workout.

Fans can enjoy free hot dogs courtesy of Kayem. The day's activities will include appearances by Raymond and the Ray Team, inflatables, giveaways, music and more. Rays players and broadcasters will be on hand to sign autographs, and the Rays Team Store will offer merchandise specials.

Fans will also have the opportunity to purchase 3-Game Packs. New for the 2015 season, this plan offers a ticket to three spring training games at the special introductory price of $39, and includes a limited edition Charlotte Sports Park photo ball with purchase. This special item commemorates the USA Today 2014 Readers' Choice Award for Best Spring Training Facility.
