Right-hander Colin Rea continued his domination of the Double-AA Texas League Sunday afternoon as he held Midland to two runs (one earned) over seven innings in host San Antonio's 7-2 win.

Rea was originally charged with two earned runs, but a post-game scoring change altered his final line. He allowed six hits and struck out five without walking a hitter.

Rea (3-2) has allowed two runs (one earned) on 13 hits and two walks with 15 strikeouts in 23 innings in four starts since returning from the disabled list on June 13. He had missed almost a month with back spasms.

Left-hander Cory Luebke (6.00 ERA) allowed a walk in a hitless inning in his third rehab assignment for the 33-43 Missions. Right-hander Tayron Guerrero (3.26 ERA) had a strikeout in a perfect inning.

Designated hitter Hunter Renfroe (.244) had two doubles in four at-bats with a RBI and a run scored. CF Travis Jankowski (.313) was 2-for-4 with a run scored. LF Alberth Martinez (.266) was 2-for-4 with a stolen base and a RBI.

Third baseman Casey McElroy (.261) and second baseman Taylor Lindsey (.205) were each 1-for-3 with a two-run double and a run scored.

Center fielder Rico Noel, 26, the Padres fifth-round pick in the 2010 draft, was released from the Triple-A El Paso roster Sunday. Noel, who switched from being a switch-hitter to batting only from the right side this spring, was hitting .242 in 66 at-bats with the Chihuahuas.
