Hanigan was placed on the 15-day disabled list on August 6 (retroactive to August 5) with left ankle peroneal tendinitis. In four rehab games between Lowell (two games) and Portland (two games), the 36-year-old Andover, MA native was a combined 6-for-14 (.429) with four walks, four RBI, and three runs scored. He has batted .158 (15-for-95) in 29 games with the Red Sox this season, having also missed 26 games from June 5 to July 4 while on the 15-day disabled list with a neck strain. The Red Sox are 21-6 in his 27 starts at catcher this season, having won each of his last eight and 11 of his last 12.
 
Kelly, 28, has allowed just one run in 13 relief appearances over his last two stints with Pawtucket, posting a 0.56 ERA (16.0 IP) with two saves, 25 strikeouts, and just two walks. He also pitched out of the bullpen in his latest stint with Boston, surrendering one run in 3.2 innings over three outings. Overall this season, the right-hander is 2-0 with a 7.62 ERA (22 ER/26.0 IP) and 28 strikeouts in nine appearances (six starts) for Boston. Selected by the Cardinals in the third round of the 2009 June Draft, the California native has made 112 major league appearances (79 starts) between Boston and St. Louis, combining to go 33-22 with a 4.02 ERA (218 ER/487.2 IP).
 
Marrero, 26, has appeared in six games and made two starts over a pair of stints with the Red Sox this season, recording one hit in nine at-bats. With Pawtucket this year, the right-handed infielder has played 92 games at shortstop and two each at second base and third base, hitting .198 (72-for-363) with 30 runs, 11 doubles, one home run, 27 RBI, and 10 stolen bases. Since being selected by Boston in the first round of the 2012 June Draft (24th overall), Marrero has hit .246 (453-for-1,842) with 246 runs, 88 doubles, seven triples, 17 home runs, 165 RBI, and 89 stolen bases in 484 minor league games. In 31 major league games since his 2015 debut, he is 13-for-62 (.210) with one home run.
 
Scott, who turned 27 on Monday, is making his debut stint in the major leagues after being signed by the Red Sox as a non-drafted free agent in August 2011. The left-hander has spent the duration of this season at the Triple-A level, going 4-3 with a 2.54 ERA (22 ER/78.0 IP), a 0.91 WHIP, and 73 strikeouts compared to 14 walks over 32 appearances (six starts) for the PawSox. He leads International League relievers with 0.98 walks per nine innings and ranks third with a .203 opponent average in relief efforts. In 156 career games (10 starts) over six minor league seasons, the two-time Eastern League mid-season All-Star has gone 19-12 with nine saves, a 2.75 ERA (96 ER/314.0 IP), and 275 strikeouts.
 
Moncada, 21, has hit .294 (119-for-405) with a .407 on-base percentage and .918 OPS in 106 games between high-level Single-A Salem (61 games) and Double-A Portland (45 games) this season, combining for 31 doubles, six triples, 15 home runs, 62 RBI, and 94 runs scored. Rated No. 1 in this year's Baseball America Midseason Top 100 Prospects list, the Cuban native leads Red Sox farmhands with 45 stolen bases in 57 attempts and ranks third in home runs. Signed by Boston as an international free agent on March 12, 2015, Moncada is 94-for-109 in stolen base attempts in only 187 minor league games, making 163 starts at second base and 10 at third base in that time.
 
Cuevas, 25, has made three relief appearances for the Red Sox over three major league stints this season, going 0-1 with a 3.60 ERA (2 ER/5.0 IP). The Venezuelan native has also pitched in 24 games (18 starts) with Pawtucket, going 6-7 with a 4.27 ERA (61 ER/128.2 IP) and 83 strikeouts. A non-roster invitee to Red Sox spring training this year, Cuevas was originally signed by Boston as an international free agent in 2008. In 161 minor league appearances (94 starts)-all in the Red Sox organization-he is 44-37 with six saves and a 3.66 ERA (295 ER/726.0 IP).
