The following projected depth chart, which is unofficial and not approved by any member of Boston Red Sox management, has been put together with input from MLB.com's Red Sox reporter, Ian Browne. Some of the Red Sox's players may be listed more than once if they are a starter at one position while a backup at another. Some prominent Minor League players who have a chance to be called up to fill a void on the Red Sox's Major League roster may be listed. The listing of such players in the Red Sox organization is not based on future Major League potential, though both descriptions overlap in some cases. For Red Sox injury news, you can keep track here, while depth charts for all 30 clubs can be viewed here.
