The Red Sox and the Class A Greenville Drive have extended their player development contract through the 2020 season.
The Drive, who play in Greenville, S.C., are members of the South Atlantic League and have been affiliated with the Red Sox since 2005.
Greenville is one of Boston's six affiliates, has a field that mirrors Fenway Park and has been home to Xander Bogaerts, Jackie Bradley Jr., Clay Buchholz and Mookie Betts, among others.
