Red Sox Foundation to host 2nd "Bacon & Beer Festival" at Fenway on June 12

For the second straight year, the Red Sox Foundation will host Eat Boston's Bacon and Beer Festival at Fenway Park, where fans can sample bacon-inspired dishes and beers from various local chefs and breweries.

For the second straight year, the Red Sox Foundation will host Eat Boston's Bacon and Beer Festival at Fenway Park, where fans can sample bacon-inspired dishes and beers from various local chefs and breweries. The event is presented by Star Market and takes place on June 12 from 4 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. Proceeds benefit the Red Sox Foundation, Lovin Spoonfils, and Community Servings.
Tickets are on sale now at redsoxfoundation.org/bacon. General Admission is $52.50 and VIP tickets, which include a special entrance to the event, t-shirt, Fenway Park-themed bobblehead, a 'Defend Bacon' tote, and a pound of Star Market's Signature Farms bacon, are $105.
"I love cooking for Bacon and Beer," said Suzi Maitland, chef of Trina's Starlite Lounge and Audubon. "It's definitely one of my favorite events - it's high energy, and everyone is there to celebrate beer and bacon. How can you go wrong with that?"
Boston Bacon and Beer Festival was introduced in 2010 by Eat Boston and has since expanded to seven cities around the country, raising over $300,000 for local organizations.
Restaurants participating in the event include: 80 Thoreau, Bambara, BOKX109 American Prime, Bondir, Boston Beer Works, Boston Burger Co., Bostonia Public House, Brass Union, Brasserie Jo, Brewers Fork, Central Bistro, Chopps American Bar and Grill, Chubby Chickpea, El Pelon, Five Horses Tavern, Foundry on Elm/Saloon, Gracie's Ice Cream / Juliet, Grendel's Den, Hops N Scotch, Lock 50, Loco Taqueria, Lord Hobo, Lulu's, Night Market, Not Your Average Joe's, Puritan & Co, Roxy's Grilled Cheese, Saloniki Greek, Savvor, Shojo, Stoddard's Fine Food & Ale, Stone and Skillet, The Fireplace, The Independent, The Maiden, The Merchant, The Sinclair, Trina's Starlite Lounge, Waxy's, West on Centre, Whole Foods Market-Symphony, and Worden Hall.
