The Boston Red Sox, Tampa Bay Rays, Boston Bruins, and Florida Panthers have partnered to raise funds for Florida as Hurricane Irma closes in on the region. Donations will be collected at all Fenway Park gates tomorrow, Sunday, September 10, before and during the 1:35 p.m. game against the Rays.

Helping with the collection will be players from the Red Sox, Rays, Bruins, and Panthers. The Panthers were moved to the Boston-area to wait out the hurricane near their American Hockey League affiliate.

Donations will support Red Cross relief efforts that may be needed in the Florida area. Florida is the home of the Red Sox' Spring Training facility, JetBlue Park, the Tampa Bay Rays' Spring Training and regular season ballparks, Charlotte Sports Park and Tropicana Field, and the Florida Panthers' arena, the BB&T Center.
