BOSTON -- The Red Sox have signed three additional players selected in last week's Draft: shortstop C.J. Chatham (second round), right-hander Stephen Nogosek (sixth round) and left-hander Robby Sexton (14th round).
Chatham hails from Florida Atlantic University. The 21-year-old was an outfielder and pitcher in high school, but he converted to shortstop in college. Chatham was named the Conference USA Player of the Year this season. He led the conference with 89 hits in 58 games with three triples and eight home runs, while also earning Defensive Player of the Year honors.

Nogosek was University of Oregon's go-to closer this season. He was 2-2 with a 1.11 ERA, 16 saves and 45 strikeouts through 40 1/3 innings. The 21-year-old was also named a 2016 Louisville Slugger All-American.
Sexton, who is from Wright State University, went 7-3 with a 3.15 ERA in 14 starts. The 21-year-old fanned 58 batters and issued just 16 walks over 74 1/3 innings.
Boston also signed as a non-drafted free agent infielder Steven Reveles, a 2016 senior from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.
In all, seven of the 40 players selected by Boston in Draft have been signed to contracts.
