24th annual Red Sox Wives "Strike Out Hunger" fundraiser to take place Friday and Saturday at Fenway Park

Donations to benefit the Greater Boston Food Bank

The 24th annual Red Sox Wives "Strike Out Hunger" fundraiser will take place this Friday, July 10, and Saturday, July 11, at Fenway Park, when the Red Sox host the New York Yankees. The annual event raises funds for the Greater Boston Food Bank through a collection of donations from fans.

Starting at 5:10 p.m. on Friday and Saturday, fans can make donations at all Fenway Park gates. The Red Sox Wives will give autographed pictures of Red Sox players to fans that make a $10 donation. The fundraiser runs until the second inning, and the Red Sox Wives will greet fans at the gates until first pitch.

Fans will also have a "Text to Give" opportunity to make donations throughout the game by texting SOX to 20222.

Over the past 23 years, the event has raised almost $300,000 and provided over 900,000 meals to those in need across eastern Massachusetts.
