Details announced for Reds Caravan

Four tours will spread out over five states from Jan. 17-20

CINCINNATI -- During baseball season, fans from outside of Greater Cincinnati often come to see the Reds play. Each January, members of the team try to return the favor by paying visits to fans near and far on the annual Reds Caravan.
Reds Caravan goes from Jan. 17-20, with four tours spreading out to five states over the four days. The different trips will combine for over 3,800 miles.
Among those who are scheduled to be on caravan buses this year are new manager David Bell, third baseman , catcher , pitchers , and , outfielders and , catcher Curt Casali, broadcasters Marty Brennaman, Thom Brennaman and Jeff Brantley, president of baseball operations Dick Williams, general manager Nick Krall and chief operating officer Phil Castellini.
Parts of Ohio, Kentucky, Indiana, West Virginia and Tennessee will be covered by the four caravan legs. There will be 17 public stops that will feature a question-and-answer session for fans and autographs. Among the bigger cities that will be visited are Columbus and Dayton in Ohio, Louisville and Lexington in Kentucky, Indianapolis and Evansville in Indiana, Nashville, Tenn., and Huntington, W. Va.
Besides the public fan stops, there will be 20 additional stops at various radio affiliates, schools, businesses and hospitals. All four caravan legs will join forces for a finale stop at Florence Mall in Northern Kentucky on Jan. 20.
