Here's a look at top prospects to watch in today's Minor League action:
Hitter to watch: Jose Siri (Reds' No. 24), Dayton vs. Fort Wayne (7:05 p.m. ET)
A base hit will etch Jose Siri's name into the record books as he is just one game away from owning the longest hitting streak in Midwest League history. Tony Toups of Waterloo set the record of 35 games back in 1977, but Siri matched that with a third-inning single on Sunday. Siri began his streak with a 4-for-6 performance on June 22 and has bumped his average from .260 to .297 over that stretch. During Siri's run he has posted 14 multi-hit games and hit 13 homers.

Pitcher to watch: Mitch Keller (Pirates' No. 2), Bradenton vs. Palm Beach (4 p.m. ET on MiLB.TV)
Keller, the No. 22 overall prospect, has bounced back from his worst outing of the season with a pair of quality starts. After giving up seven earned runs on July 15, Keller has allowed two earned runs over 13 innings in his past two outings. Keller has given up a total of six hits in those two games and struck out 10 compared to issuing just two walks.

Duel of the Day: Mike Shawaryn (Red Sox's No. 8) vs. Dane Dunning (White Sox No. 11), Salem vs. Winston-Salem (7 p.m. ET on MiLB.TV)
Shawaryn ran into some trouble in his last start, but has otherwise had a solid month. The 22-year-old is 2-1 with a 3.70 ERA through five starts in July. Those numbers would look even better if Shawaryn hadn't allowed five earned runs in 2 2/3 innings in his last start, an outing he'll be looking to put in the rearview mirror.
Meanwhile, Dunning will look for more of the same as he was dominant in his last outing. The 22-year-old struck out six over seven scoreless frames as he picked up his sixth win of the season. Overall Dunning is 6-5 with a 2.74 ERA in 19 starts across two levels.
