Reds' pitchers and catchers to report Feb. 18

CINCINNATI -- The Reds revealed on Wednesday that their pitchers and catchers are scheduled to report to Spring Training at Goodyear, Ariz., on Feb. 18. Physicals will be taken on the morning of Feb. 19, followed by an afternoon workout.

The full squad report date is Feb. 23, with physicals and the first full-squad workout on Feb. 24.

Cincinnati's Cactus League schedule commences on March 3 with the first of three straight games vs. the Indians at Goodyear Ballpark.

Other home games on the exhibition schedule include the American League-champion Royals on March 11 and the World Series-champion Giants on March 16.

The Reds will break camp following an April 2 game vs. Cleveland and head to Montreal for exhibition games vs. the Blue Jays at Olympic Stadium on April 3-4.

Opening Day at Great American Ball Park is on April 6 vs. the Pirates.
