Marshall throws live BP, eyes April 18 return to bigs

CINCINNATI -- Reds left-handed reliever Sean Marshall, who did not pitch in a game during Spring Training because of a sore left shoulder, threw an inning of live batting practice on Tuesday. Marshall faced Minor Leaguers at the team's training complex in Goodyear, Ariz.

"He came out of that just fine," Reds manager Bryan Price said.

Price hoped that Marshall could be ready to join the Reds sometime around April 18.
