Time is running out to register for the Brewers Mini-Marathon, presented by Sendik's. The sixth annual event gives runners the option of conquering a half marathon, 10K or 5K. Each course leads participants through Miller Park along the field warning track before finishing outside the ballpark on Frederick Miller Way.
 
The races will take place on Saturday, September 9, starting at 7 a.m. All participants will receive an exclusive race shirt and finishers medal, as well as a ticket voucher to a select 2018 Brewers game. The Field Level seating bowl will be open for spectators to join the excitement and cheer on their favorite runners as they race through Miller Park. The Post-Race Tailgate Party in the Aaron Lot will include live music by Milwaukee's own Element 13, great ballpark food for purchase, displays by race sponsors and two free cold beers for each finisher over the age of 21.
 
An exciting new course was recently finalized for the half marathon. Runners will make a loop in Walker's Point from miles three to five and complete an out-and-back on the Honey Creek Parkway before winding through Doyne Park at mile eleven. The 10K and 5K routes will see minor changes, with the 5K course dipping down onto the Hank Aaron State Trail for a change of scenery. The new course can be found at BrewersMini.com.
 
Participants are encouraged to fundraise for the MACC Fund, which has contributed over $60 million to childhood cancer and blood disorder research since 1976. Brewers Mini-Marathon participants have raised over $220,000 in the first five years of the event.

Online registration prices are $95 for the half marathon, $65 for the 10K and $40 for the 5K until 11:59 p.m. on Tuesday, September 5. Race packets can be picked up during Packet Pick-Up at Miller Park on Thursday, September 7 and Friday, September 8. Last-minute registrations will be accepted for the half marathon, 10K and 5K for $110, $80 and $45, respectively, at Packet Pick-Up if space is available.
 
Supporters of the Brewers Mini-Marathon include West Bend Mutual, FOX Sports Wisconsin, WTMJ, Baker Tilly, Sky High Marketing, Studio Gear, Heiser Automotive, Float Life and Thrivent Financial. Presenting sponsor Sendik's will provide water and snacks to refuel runners at the finish line.
