Phillies manager Ryne Sandberg said Revere was available to play against the Reds in the series finale, but John Mayberry Jr. started in center field for the second time in three games. Tony Gwynn Jr. started in center on Saturday.
"He's over the hump with that as far as being sick," Sandberg said of Revere. "I anticipate him ready to go on Tuesday [in Miami]."
But if Revere finds himself in the starting lineup, where will he hit? The Phillies have had some success with Jimmy Rollins hitting leadoff and Carlos Ruiz and Wil Nieves hitting second the past three games while he has been out.
