RHP Danny Salazar recalled from Columbus

The Cleveland Indians today announced the following roster moves relative to the Major League club:

Recalled RHP DANNY SALAZAR from AAA Columbus.

Optioned OF TYLER HOLT to AAA Columbus.

Salazar begins his third stint with the Indians this year with a start this afternoon against the Baltimore Orioles in Progressive Field. He has split the season between Cleveland and Triple-A Columbus, going 4-5 with a 4.88ERA in 12 starts for the Indians (62.2IP, 71H, 38/34ER, 23BB, 69K). Over his recent stint from July 22-August 6 Danny was 3-1 with a 3.68 ERA in 4 starts (22.2IP, 22H, 9ER, 22K). With Columbus this year he has gone 4-6 with a 3.71 ERA in 11 starts (60.2IP, 58H, 28R/25ER, 28BB, 76K, .243AVG). His last outing with the Clippers came on August 12 vs. Louisville in Huntington Park (7.0IP, 5H, 1R/ER, 0BB, 9K).
