RHP Kendall Graveman placed on 10-Day DL; RHP Daniel Mengden recalled

The Oakland A's placed right-handed pitcher Kendall Graveman on the 10-day disabled list, retroactive to May 26, with a right shoulder strain, the club announced today. Right-handed pitcher Daniel Mengden was recalled from Triple-A Nashville and will start this afternoon's 4:10 p.m. EDT game at Progressive Field.

Graveman last pitched May 19 vs. Boston, tossing six innings of two-run ball and throwing a season-high 105 pitches. This is his second stint on the disabled list this season with a right shoulder strain after missing 10 games from April 15-26.

Mengden began the season on the disabled list after undergoing offseason foot surgery. He missed 42 games before being reinstated and optioned to Nashville on May 20.
