RHP Shawn Kelley optioned to AAA Tacoma

PEORIA, Arizona -- Seattle Mariners Executive Vice President & General Manager Jack Zduriencik announced today that right-handed pitcher Shawn Kelley has been optioned to AAA Tacoma.

Today’s roster move leaves the Mariners roster at 27 players. The club must be at its regular-season limit of 25 players by 2 pm on Wednesday.

The Major League, 40-man roster, remains at 40 players.
