Alomar, Halladay, Carter, Delgado lead in Franchise Four voting

TORONTO -- Roberto Alomar, Roy Halladay, Joe Carter and Carlos Delgado have the early lead in voting for the Blue Jays' Franchise Four campaign.

The vote allows fans to pick the most impactful players who best represent each Major League franchise. Jose Bautista, George Bell, Tony Fernandez and Dave Stieb are the other Toronto nominees.

A panel consisting of MLB's official historian, John Thorn, and representatives from the Elias Sports Bureau, MLB.com, MLB Network and the Baseball Writers' Association of America were tasked with compiling the list of eight candidates from each team.

More than 11.8 million votes have been cast in the Franchise Four voting, and you can cast your ballot here. Voting ends on May 8, and winners from all 30 clubs will be announced at the 2015 All-Star Game, which will take place July 14 at Great American Ball Park in Cincinnati.
