The Rockies on Tuesday announced their Minor League staff for the 2018 season, including the staff for a second Dominican Summer League team. Notable changes include Darin Everson assuming the role of Minor League hitting and bunting coordinator and Anthony Sanders taking over as outfield and baserunning coordinator.
Everson previously served as the hitting coach for Triple-A Albuquerque last season and as manager of Double-A Hartford from 2015-16. This is his sixth year within the organization.
Sanders was promoted from supervisor of Class A Advanced development (2016-17). He's in his 11th season with the Rockies and he previously served as the manager of the Rookie-level Grand Junction team (2013-15).
Glenallen Hill returns as Triple-A Albuquerque's skipper for a sixth season. Colorado's Double-A affiliate, the Hartford Yard Goats, have an entirely new coaching staff with Warren Schaeffer taking over as manager after spending the last three seasons at the helm of Class A Asheville. Fred Ocasio is back for a fourth season managing Class A Advanced Lancaster, while Robinson Cancel enters his first season as Asheville's manager.
