May 15th, 2016

DENVER -- As pregame parades go at Coors Field, the one on Sunday was epic.
About 1,700 youth baseball and softball players from around Colorado and their coaches entered the warning track in the left-field corner. The players, who wore their uniforms, walked the entire length of the warning track and past both dugouts before departing at the starting point in the left-field corner.

The kids had tickets to the game between the Rockies and Mets. The colorful parade took 25 minutes and was the culmination of Play Ball Weekend at Coors Field.
Play Ball Weekend is an extension of the Play Ball initiative, which launched in 2015 as the sport's largest effort to encourage widespread participation in both formal and casual baseball and softball activities.
